Please rate this spring

This spring is part of the Minase Shinto Shrine just outside of central Osaka. Locals collect water here regularly and the location is beautiful and very accessible. A spigot and also drinking trough with a canopy, drinking ladles etc. Very picturesque and worth a visit.

Nearest Address

〒618-0011 大阪府三島郡島本町広瀬3丁目10−24

Directions from Nearest Address

From Minase Station (Hankyu Line) walk down the road along the side of the rail line heading NE. Walk for maybe 8 minutes until you reach a 5 way intersection with a road going under the rail line. Veer left, but not extreme left, and head down the road until it ends in a T and walk left. The shrine should be visible. The spring is just through the Shrine entrance on the left.

As far as I’m aware, 24hrs a day. It is on Shrine property and monks live there, but I don’t remember seeing a gate of any kind. I’d suggest daylight hours to be.
