There is a neatly presented spring in Higham Lancashire next to the Four Alls Pub.  When the first sign went up it was promptly taken down by locals and then another sign was promptly put up by a water company.  Read the signs and decide for yourself.  I have not tested this water with a TDS meter but if you read the sign then you can make up your own mind.  It tastes okay to me.

There is a sign saying not suitable for drinking??

  3. IAN says:

Narinder, the sign says due to the private water act 2009 it’s unsuitable for drinking. Everyone drinks it and has done for years, the water is fine.

  4. Nicola says:

    Local water for local people
