You’ll see a metal pipe in the ditch and lots of cat-tails (bull rushes / reeds). Water isn’t really cold but is cool. When you stand right at the very corner of the two roads, you can hear the water running and the small path leading down to it is only about 1m away and about 1/2 a meter long. You walk onto it pretty much from the road, not from the larger path running behind the reeds.

Easy parking on East side of Quarry Road by mailboxes. When boiled dry there was quite a bit of white residue, so likely has higher than optimal calcium levels. Taste was good.

Has this water been tested for purity?

  2. Marc says:

Visited the spring today and as I was filling my container, a driver stopped and advised me that she took a sample of the water and found some bacteria readings. She told us to be advised because since it’s groundwater, it could have ran through pastures. She gave us her business card and turns out she’s in the water filtration business. Were guessing that she was trying to scare us away from the spring and redirect us to her business instead, but either way ensure to boil this water before consumption just to be on the safe side!

We visited site and what a shame of So much waste of running water when so many areas in life here need it.does anyone have any feedback on using this water for much money is spent on bottled water why when you can take advantage of nature at it’s best.i live on burnt river where the water has so much sulfer that my hair is orange .can’t drink it can’t cook with not using this water to wash my hair. Would love to taste it if it’s safe. Any FEEDBACK?
