We picked up a few gallons of water from this spring about a month ago. It was our first taste of spring water but it tasted so cold, lovely and vibrant. Nothing to compare it to and no stats to report but intuition says this one is good and clean.

  2. Kerry says:

Just picked up water from this source this past weekend. Brought my TDS & pH meter. Got these readings… TDS = 170, Temp = 7.9C, pH= 7.4 (my pH meter may or mar not have been calibrated correctly so the pH reading is somewhat questionable). Am loving this water and it has a great clean taste.

Wanting to make a trip out to this spring – anyone been there recently and know if its still good to go?

    • Meg says:

We just went out. The water seems really clean and fresh.

    • Johann says:

Yes, it is still “good to go” although in my experience, someone may violently rape you when you get there, Hanna! It hurts and I am still in pain as a result!

Bit overdue, but as per my other comment the spring is flowing today. The road is now called Fred Jones. 3 cars ahead and 1 car behind to fill up in the short time I was there. Must be good water. Tastes great anyway.

  4. Rosco says:

The road is now known as Fred Jones road (formally Dover springs road). Drove by it the other day, is there still spring water available here?

    • Rosco says:

Yes this spring is still open. Great flow today. Looks lovely and clean. Several people filling up ahead of us. Asked if it was good…obviously as they were filling to drink! Anyway tested it the old fashioned way, drank it and still alive. Will probably look into a test kit for interest and piece of mind. In the meantime I have 40 litres to enjoy. Thanks rosco

    Visited today (5JUL18):

People at the sight assured me they’ve been imbibing for 65 years with no issued.

Very tasty & refreshing especially on a 32C day
