If you are looking for the hottest springs in Canada, look no further than Miette Hot Springs. Located in Jasper National Park, we believe you will get the best bang for you buck as far as luxury relaxation and the most scenic views of Canada. As water comes down the Canadian Rockies at a blistering 129 degrees, it is cooled down for your enjoyment to a more reasonable temperature of 104.

Considered one of the best attractions when it comes to things to do in Jasper National Park, Miette Hot Springs resort draws in crowds from all over the world. When you aren’t taking a dip in the pools you can also hit the wilderness for some hiking, sightseeing, or just enjoying the fresh outdoors. The healing minerals from the hot springs include:

  • Calcium
  • Sulfate
  • Magnesium
  • Bicarbonate
  • Sodium

As you enter the Jasper resort there are changing rooms for both men and women to slip out of their hiking gear and throw on some bathing suits. You can bring your own towels or rent one for a small fee. There are also lockers in the changing area to put your personal items to avoid having to leave them next to the springs.

The resort will ask you to take off your shoes so also bring some men’s flip flops or women’s flip flops to walk around the showers and from pool to pool. Speaking of showers, the staff will ask that you shower before entering the hot springs to help keep them clean. It’s more of a rinse down, but please respect the rules to avoid the place having to close down for maintenance. Once you hit the hot springs you will have access to three different areas with lounge chairs to relax it.

There are three pools all said and done at this facility and resort. Two of them are hot springs with temperatures between 98 – 104 degrees and a cool down pool if you are starting to sweat too much. For the best experience it’s good to go back and forth between the hot and cool springs to open p the pores and allow the skin to absorb the healing minerals.
