Get Directions →

Small spring coming out of the rock and into the river.  Located between the beach called the Catwalk, and the next set of large rapids downriver. From the beach side of the river, go downstream until you can see the sharp bend in the river where the suicide rapids begin.

Take the paths until you see a clear rock river bank above the turn in the river.  You’ll see the spring.  Lift any rocks in that cold stream of water and you are likely to find salamanders.

You can also get there from Summit Trail, otherwise known as Cemetery side road.

Might be tricky to collect the water, as it’s flowing over a relatively flat rock.

This spring is not suitable for getting water. The forest floor has grown up over the source of origin.

Is it east of summit trail rd? This is where the orange dot locates it…
