I went there today and the property is posted no trespassing.October 14 2012

  2. Jamie says:

We went there today and saw the signs as well. Still grabbed the water as we made the trek. I noticed the pipe had been cut as well.

Is this water ok for drinking? Any word on the tests sent off? Thank you.

I’m from the locate area. Spring is located on private property. No Trespassing is posted. If you go to the house the lady will grant you permission..

  4. Paula says:

Trespassing signs put up for your safety as hill is very steep and older people who do use it, even late at night, could fall and hurt themselves. Water testing is done regularly and is safe to drink. Pipe was put in by owner of property years ago and removed to deter people from accessing spring leading to injury.

  5. Melanie says:

I’m heading there for the first time, is the posted address the one that I go and ask at? I’m asking because the directions say that the spring is across the street so I’m not sure if it’s the same or a different property.
    Thank you,
    Mel

My boyfriend and I drove out to this location today hoping to get some water. The spring is located at the bottom of a steep ravine, and there are indeed “No Trespassing” signs.

The address given, 2150 Sulphur Spring, is NOT the owner of the property the spring is on.

She did direct us to the owner, who told us the spring is on private property and she does not want people coming to the spring. She also said that the water is not tested and “not potable”. She was a friendly woman with two pit bulls, who is tired of people coming and going at all hours of the day and night.

      Hi,
No trespassing signs are still up as of 2020, the path down is very overgrown. City said owner of 2150 is not same owner as across street. Do you know who the owner of this property is? I’d like to collect water please. TY
