Hello, You would have to go to the spring with jugs and collect your own water.

Instead of “donate what you can” it’s more of a “get heckled if you don’t pay 2$ per 20L situation”.

Note that they are open only from 8-20h. We drove in far from the city and they close the pipe. We were disappointed

Bonjour, est-ce que vous connaissez les TDS PPM pour cette source? Merci ~

The water is good but the experience down there is bad. After a rough greeting loaded with accusations, I was literally asked by the owner “How much are you going to donate? Folk usually pay 2$ for each one of those jugs.” That’s pretty much being imposed a fixed rate – where is the donation part of it?

First I was attacked with a very weird remark on the number of jugs I had – as if that matters for a spring (even with a pump running on electricity). Secondly they picked on me for not leaving money “the last time I was there”. I was there once in winter a very long time ago. They told me “someone with similar jugs came and didn’t leave money”. What is wrong with these people – they got nothing better to do than extort money and keep tabs with those that come to their spring?

I was there about 3 months ago and I stayed there for about an hour resting from a long drive. I saw many people coming and they all donated. At that rate I bet they can make 300$ a month – let a lone a year.

These people behave miserably like they run a business; I talked with the person who recommend the spring and I was confirmed they went through similar situations.

Their behavior is weird and disgusting. I spilled the water and went 15 km north to St Anne des Monts – the water is good and free there.

Writing this, I started having doubts about their 300$/year maintenance costs and after a quick google research it turns out maintaining a proper, good well doesn’t cost much more than electricity for pumping: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070829091145AA20etz . Their pitch sounds like a hustle to me.

The same for me! Theykept asking me each time how much money i put in because i had alot of guggs & saying that a good person gives them at least $5 for the amount i took. Evil people with money making on their mind, They even shut the water off mid stream when i had already paid, teling me that if i wasn’t happy that i could go else where. They should not say donation is required but rather set a fixed price & pay the tax on the sales to the city.I find these people to be awkwardly strange & downright EVIL to be asking for donations and then judging your donation to be not enough to their liking then shutting off the water on you when you have already put the cash in the dropbox…evil little people. God will deal with them.

I was so sad to see that they closed it this week , I heard because they where people complaining.. can you believe that ? I had been filling jugs there for close to a year and felt blessed to have spring water such as this and never had an issue with the owners, always left what I was confortable with , now I am stuck drinking poluted tap water
