Hello. Excatly where is the spring @ annapolis rock?
thanks
Coming off of the main trail, just before the spur trail ends at the cliffs, there is a trail to the left. Keep following the trail until you see the second privy. About 60 yards past that is the spring and the small runoff stream. There are also some camping areas ~30 yards from the spring, behind the privies.
How do you know the water is clean (free from chemical fertilizers and other pollutants)?
This water has been in an underground aquifer since before such thing existed, and is most likely the cleanest thing you will ever put into your body. The water coming out of your tap most definitely contains these things you’re concerned about..
I’m just noticing that there is a 2.5 hour hike time? Sounds like it would be hard to carry water back then.
I checked the TDS of Annapolis Rock Spring. It was 7. It’s about a 1 hour hike to the spring.
