Spring is just near the road on the right hand side as you drive up or on the left hand side as you drive down the hill. Concrete encapsulated spring that has a cube opening at the center. Opening is not covered, but needs to be covered. From all signs, it appears spring is in an abandoned state. A look within shows the water is clear and pristine, but has a small quantity of debris floating on the surface. Spout at the bottom is clogged, but some water does trickle trough. Spout is metal and rusty. By all signs, this spring needs some rebuilding.

I’m willing to help restore this, but have no idea where to start (other than doing some research). If anyone knows how to go about restoring it, contact me and I’ll pitch a hand.

I’m looking for information on water testing now. the gov site doesn’t have this spring listed that i can tell so far.

We want to start drinking spring water only, and really would like to know more on this well

Best spring water in the area is up in Rock Springs. TDS meters can be had for less than $20.

We are also interested in helping to update this spring. Greg, if you’re still around and interested, perhaps we can collaborate.

My family checked this spring out this afternoon and I have a few things to comment on.
I don’t know how much repair or whatever needs to be done, though I would personally appreciate a little foot bridge of sorts.
I brought my TDS meter along and the water readnin at 188. For whatever that’s worth. I’d like to get it tested for some other things, there’s a test that I think sounds appropriate for $80. Would love some input on that.
The taste of the water- its pleasant and refreshing. It’s a little soft more than crisp with a slight aftertaste of mineral, maybe iron?
I’ll include photos, including one of the space I would suggest a little bridge. Even a pallet?
