Burger’s Lake is a spring-fed little water park attraction in River Oaks, Texas.  My boys and I have been enjoying going to their park for 20 years.  It’s much nicer than a chlorinated swimming pool.  Well, I asked the owners about the untreated, raw water that was available to bottle and they were kind to point me in the right direction:

The big swimming area is treated with a small amount of chlorine; however, the little toddler splash area is untreated, raw spring water.  There is a large white tube in the splash area where you can go and fill up bottles.  I was happy to hear that they do use this water to make their lemonade!!

I haven’t done any testing on this or even gotten a TDS meter to check the levels but this is great tasting, clean and refreshing water.

The owners will let you onto the property without paying the entrance fee to the park if you’ll just let them know you’re only staying for five minutes to fill up bottles with the icy cold, refreshing water.  However, please visit this little park if you’re in the area!  It’s very laid back and fun.
