An easy to find spring just north of Gaines, PA on RT 349. Easy enough for anyone to get to, plenty of parking, locals look after it, and best of all great tasting water!

I have been to this spring a few times. The water is good to drink and does not have any sulfur taste or smell. The only problem is that toward the end of Summer the flow rate starts to slow down dramatically due to lack of rain. If you turn onto 349 from Route 6 and head North, the spring is about a mile up on the left – it’s a metal pipe about 2 feet off the ground coming out of the mountain with a small wood pallet under it. If you know of any others in the area, please post them as I would love to check them out. I was told there is another one on the way out to Mansfield off of route 6, but have yet to find it.
