Has anyone ever tested this? I am noting in the comments on a few of these springs that labs come back sketchy. Since this is the closest too us, I am hoping its good!!!! Anyone?

    • Jamie says:

I’m a little skeptical since this has no comments. Does anyone use this spring? Does anyone know the SOURCE of the water? What spring is this coming from?

I was going to another “spring” but there’s debate if it’s actually spring water or just Well water, and I don’t want to drive an hour for well water. I want real spring water.

    • Tom says:

Kate, what type of water tests and what is it about the water that comes back sketchy? Any better or worse than well water?

    • Andrew says:

hey there! any news about the quality of this water? will be passing by on Sunday was wondering if I should fill up!

    • anthony says:

i am going there very soon to get this professionally tested in a lab. Is it hard to find?, major road its near?

I had a sample of this water tested on March 9th 2016. The results was that this is unsafe water to drink.
    Coliform Bacteria was present.
    The TDS is 103.

  3. Bryan Milne says:

It’s kind of sketchy that there are railroad tracks about 40 feet uphill from this “source” but this water tastes amazing and I’ve been enjoying serious rehydration since I started imbibing about a week ago. I think I’d like to do some tests as well. I ‘d love to know if there are any other local springs around in this vicinity… Sherman, CT ; New Milford, CT; Kent, CT that are high quality for drinking and not too far from a pullup/parking spot.

  4. Caitlin says:

I have drunk it before and been fine, returning today with a TDS

    • Corey says:

Did you return to test it? I just purchased a TDS on amazon…I will test it myself when it comes in. I have been drinking it about a week now and I see people filling up the big drinking tanks there all the time.

Here is information on Coliform Bacteria..

“Total coliform bacteria are not likely to cause illness, but their presence indicates that your water supply may be vulnerable to contamination by more harmful microorganisms.”

“n water, coliform bacteria have no taste, smell, or colour. They can only be detected through a laboratory test.
The Canadian Drinking Water Quality Guideline for total coliforms is none detectable per 100 mL. The Canadian Drinking Water Quality Guideline for Escherichia coli (E.coli) is none detectable per 100 mL.
Maximum Acceptable Concentration for Drinking Water = none detectable per 100 mL This means that in order to conform to the guideline:
    • For every 100 mL of drinking water tested, no total coliforms or E.coli should be detected.”

This water tastes great. But now I’m nervous. Has anyone determined that it is definitely spring water? And had it tested? Please comment if you have any info. Thank you!
