Since the spring is on private property, permission would be needed to proceed to the spring from the 8910 Hwy. U, Cassville, WI address. Across the highway from the farm at this address, there is a dirt trail heading south which leads to pasture land up on a hill the overlooks the Grant River, a river that is very popular for canoeing in the summer time. About 3/4 up the full length of the trail, the spring can be found if you move off the trail and travel down the hillside toward the river. It should be located near the intersection of two barbed wire fence lines.
