5/4/2012 I Just visited kentwood springs for the first time and collected 12 gal of spring water. I tested the TDS it was 61 ppm and the temp felt like mid to high 50
and the water is very clear and has a sweet tast to it. The spring is easy to find just
    follow the direction.

    isn’t 61 ppm high?

What’s the difference between buying Kentwood Springs water already bottled for you and getting it yourself? Seems like quite a hassle unless you use glass and those are heavy.

Here is the gps co-ordinates for the spring. N 30 degrees 56.436′ W 090 degrees 30.349′ Great water!! 🙂 It is free. No littering or they will block it off.

I went to Avenue D and saw the Kentwood company Sign behind a chain link Fence and a large collection tank above ground. I also saw water flowing out of a large PVC pipe down to a cement pipe . Is this water safe to drink? I also saw the sign about not littering the area etc. I did not collect any water because I was not sure it was the right place with no signage and the water flowing out of a PCV pipe was a little suspicious. Can anyone help? Thanks

Has anyone tried to collect water there recently? Would love to drive up there but hearing you cannot collect the water there???

  7. Tbone says:

Looks like they shut it down to the public. And for no good reason.

I’ve been to this site many times when in kentwood calling on customers as an Wholesale A/C Supply House! A friend whose from there said Kentwood Water Supply finally bought the rights and closed the main spring water flo wells…there are still many folks in that area who will let you pull water from their wells and from some flo wells in the area….there’s nothing like the taste of water from Mother Nature….John “Tabasco” Lee

Where else in the state can we find a actual running natural spring? Kentwood is cut off now, and The Abita town that is not a actual natural running spring, you have to push a bottom for the water to come out. There has to be a natural spring in our state somewhere?
