This is an artisian well, flow 24/7. I have personally been drinking this water for over 3 years now, and the only water I have been drinking. PH about as perfect as you can get, just a tad over on the calcium, but not visible in my containers even after dried, my personal is tops in Michigan.

It’s the road that encircles Little Traverse Lake 🙂 Although the open container of this spring makes me a little leery.

This can’t be right. According to this map, the Leelanau spring is located somewhere near West Branch, MI. Please update.

  5. Amy says:

I don’t know how to give the GPS location. Its right near the tiny shack/cabin close to M-22. It comes up through a metal barrel/ring.

This is in Leelanau County, nowhere near the location marked on this map.

  7. Pam says:

This is not Grand traverse Co, I suspect it is Clare county.

This spring is accurately depicted on the map. I can confirm as this spring is located on what has been my family’s property for over 40 years. It is very small, and inconspicuous.

    Coordinates listed above are accurate:

    Latitude: 44.923292
    Longitude: -85.864079

I just went here. There’s a yellow, “watch for pedestrians” sign. Directly behind it is a wooden pole, and a small wooden structure. The spring is on the ground within this wooden structure. I posted picture so you can see what I’m describing.

Like Amy’s comments say above, it’s contained within a small ring. It appears that someone long ago put this ring (almost like a fire pit ring) around the water coming out of the ground to contain it and form a small pool. There are holes in the side of it where water spills out. I just filled my containers from there.

The water was nice and cold, and clear, and tastes clean. There a lot of vegetation growing around it. When I arrived, a frog jumped out of the pool of water. I drank it all week long while in Traverse City and felt great.
