In looking at the map for the above spring, It appears that the spring may be locate in the newly created trailhead parking for Goodman Mountain which is marked with a DEC brown and yellow sign?

  2. Anthony Scozzari says:

I visited this spring in July 2017 and the water was cold, clear and delicious. The pipe is very low to the ground so if you are filling a large container, you will need a smaller one to fill and then bail into your larger one.

The water here is far superior to the River Road Spring in Lake Placid.

I am having a debate with my co-workers on whether this water is safe or good. We got water from this spring a couple days ago and filled up a few bottles and we are really enjoying it.
