Thank you very much for posting this spring, it is much closer to home!

I took water from this spring a few weeks ago. My readings were a TDS of 35..and the Ph was 6.8

Very good tasting water. I may send a sample for tseting.

    Update: 10/8/09

    Spring is DRY.

no water coming out of the white PVC pipe.

It could be that this is a seasonal or random flowing spring.

Where do you typically send samples for testing (that is affordable within reason)?

Thanks for the tip. I had fine spring water for the holidays

Is anyone interested in sharing the cost for testing this spring?
NTL Labs is a great resource that tests everything.
Here is a sample test report:
    http://ntllabs.com/Watercheck_com/pdf/Waterchec

The total cost for this is $177.95. If we could get 4 or 5 users (or more) of the spring to pitch in, it would be great, and we could have a highly confident source of supply.
    What do you think?

I like the fairly ferrel fellow posing there New Dawn. I was there last week, I got an identical picture minus the dog. I would have missed it if someone was not gathering from it just as I approached. Between this and Healing Springs, I got to pick my Healing waters but this is still a great find and interesting area. Antique shops everywhere!! And you got to make the trip to Cooper Springs Maine. Go from star power to Super Nova Style!!

  10. NewDawn says:

    IcewaLter,
I'll certainly make up to Cooper Spring this summer. Sounds amazing!
A gift for you – a treasure hunt of sorts. When in Monson, find High Street. Go up the hill until you pass the seepage spring I posted ( 64 High St.). Continue another 200 feet and you'll see a car pull-off (also on your left), walk down the path and partake.

NewDawn, I just saw your post. I love a treasure hunt! I will take you up on that soon. And I have been to MT HITCHCOCK SPRINGS several times now and got TDS readings no higher 7. And for those who don't know there is nice rock slab to rest your containers on while refilling not shown in the picture above. Cheers!

  12. IcewaLter says:

this spring was dry 2 weeks ago. I stopped by Healing Spring the same day which had a good flow still. FYI.

4/21/12               I was at this spring today and it was flowing. It was just a moderate flow… It is definitely in a secluded place but the directions listed are impossible to screw up! Good, cold water.

  14. videophreak90 says:

No flow as of beginning of August 2012

  15. Daniel says:

The spring was flowing today, but it was very slow. TDS was about 30 and it was cold. Just not a lot of water coming out of the pipe. The true blessing spring is not far from here, if you have a car, and it was flowing like a river.

  16. breatheasy says:

The spring was dry as of today, Oct 29, 2015. Hoping it will return!

  17. Kim says:

Any updates to this spring? The last post was in 2014.
    thanks!

  18. Joshua Johns says:

As of 2/16/20 this spring is dried up!
