I went to the Summer Well (as the directional sign says) today. Its such a well-guarded secret that not even the police officer in City Hall knew what I was talking about. An older gentleman walking his dog directed me to the top of the hill to the left of City Hall, NOT at City Hall, past the recycling center and make a left at the top of the hill at the small building at the end. There are 3 spigots with hoses attached to each. The water tastes of minerals, which is maybe why the TDS measured 400+. Not sure if its a true spring or a well as the signs say. If anyone has other test results, please share. Thanks!

P.S. – the sign says “Clifton Residents Only”. So dispense at your own discretion.

Never been to this spring, but I know Clifton is in north eastern NJ… Either the pin or the name of the town is wrong.

If you think a better GPS coordinate is suitable, please make a comment on the spring page including the better coordinates. Also upload a photo to the spring post page. Once someone else confirms the more suitable coordinates, we will adjust the pin drop on map.
