Has anybody actually visited this site? I’m here and I’ve looked all over but I see no spring…

    🙁

  2. Yamaris says:

I was there today March 29, 2014, the spring is pass 1200 Mall and the triangle were route 208 slips, continue about 300 steps, look down and to your right, you will see it. There is parking place across the stress in a banana shape area. You can see it in this map. The temperature of the water was 12.6 c and PPM 154

  3. Charlie says:

I have been getting my water here all the time but the tds is low, around 80. I herd 300 tds is ideal. So i have to add some Celtic sea salt to bring the tds up. And the location is not that great, it’s kinda dangerous. There is always trucks, and cars flying past you and the pipe is only a couple feet from the road. I hope to find a better spring soon.

  4. Have you tested the water? Is it absolutely safe for consumption?

  5. Charlie says:

Yes EVELYN, my sister tested it, and she said it was clean. And i have been drinking it for at least two years now. But as i said in my other post the TDS is low, it’s about 77. According to Holistic health practitioner Paul chek. He said water should have a tds of at least 300. Or the water will leach minerals from your body. So i have to add Celtic sea salt so that won’t happen to me.

    • Nanette says:

Hi Charlie. How much of Celtic sea salt can I add to the water? Can I find this in any particular market? Any kind of information will help a lot. Thank You

  6. Yee says:

Does anyone know who maintains this water supply? I’m pregnant and my midwife wanted me to find out how my water supply is maintained. Thanks!

  7. KIM says:

THE WATER IS NOT RUNNING DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHY;-(((( I LOVE THIS LITTLE SPRING

  8. Cyndi says:

At the spring site now. No more running water

  9. KIM says:

does anyone know why its stopped running it was fully flowing all year until now sooooo bummed!!!!

  10. Lena says:

I passed the spring on Sunday and it was flowing. Someone was there filling up.

  11. Charlie says:

Hi Nanette, sorry i have not been on this website in a long time. You can add a pinch per cup of water. From what i heard from Paul Chek the water should not taste salty but it should taste different after you add the pinch of celtic sea salt. You just have to experiment on yourself because everyone is different. Look up Paul Chek on YouTube. He has so much great information on all kinds of health related topics.

  12. Cindy says:

I HAVE BEEN DRINKING FROM THE SPRING ON 208 IN MONROE NY FOR 30 TO 40 YEARS. MY FAMILY IS FINE. I DON’T KNOW WHAT SEA SALT OR TDS IS GOING TO DO BUT I THINK I GET ENOUGH SALT IN A DAY? BUT I DO WONDER IF ITS MAINTAINED. YEAR AGO WHEN MY SONS WERE YOUNG WE DID SEE A GREAT BEAR TRUCK GETTING WATER UP WHERE THE SPRING HOUSE IS. BUT I HAVEN’T SEEN IT LATELY.

  13. Neil says:

I own the property across the street. That spring has been a reliable source of water for 60 years. Back in the 80’s it was the primary site for Great Bear spring water, they have a building with a storage tank at the site. Poland Springs bought Great Bear and put them out of business. That pipe was the overflow, but now its all the flow. Best tasting water I have ever known. Been drinking it for 40 years.

  14. robin miller says:

so u just bring your own bottles and fill it up

  15. RS says:

Water table is so much lower than it used to be in the area, probably because of Kiryas Joel drilling wells to support their rapidly expanding population. Maybe once they have that pipeline flowing things will improve, but I’m not optimistic.

  16. Jennifer says:

No water flowing from the pipe today.

  17. Joe says:

I am not sure if this water is currently safe to drink.
I looked up the property records and this site is currently classified as,
Property class Water Used for Oil Production (735)

  18. Steve G says:

We have been going here for over 5 years and the flow is great as well as taste. Busy road so you have to be careful. Plently of room to park across the street. If you park on the side with the spring you will be right on the white line and the traffic, its better to park on other side and cross with caution.

  19. Alex says:

This Spring is not safe to drink. When I made tea with it you can see a shiny oily film on the top. No other water I have tried where I have seen that. I will also note a significant drop in my energy when drinking this water. I do not recommend this source at all.
