Description
Just east of Fayette, OH. Great tasting fresh water. Iron content is high. An old man pulled up while I was there and informed me that locals have been using this spring for years. It is normal for iron content to be high in this region.
I was turned off by the large rusty bucket, lol. I have been assured that this is a completely natural occurrence of water emerging from the earth.

good water, lots of iron….so if your low on iron, this is the water for you!
Was out riding by bike today (95 degrees out) and this was a god send! Super cold iron rich water! A local guy that also stopped said that there were a few more in the area. Anyone know where?
Can’t wait to drive out & find this little spring~sounds wonderful!
Went there today, good tasting water. Good flow also.
41.675492,-84.262927 are the actual coordinates. Just about a half mile east of the pin on the map.
Could the high iron content actually create health problems – especially for men – who don’t need as much? Also, I’m new to this site, and the concept sounds AMAZING. But I have to ask, are these springs ever tested for chemical runoff from farmer’s fields, etc.? Thanks!
I went here yesterday. If you click “directions” above to this spring, you will be about 5 min away from the spring. Thank you Oenema for posting the exact coordinates. If you put these in your GPS it will take you right to the spring:

I have been getting water from here for a year now and it’s so good! It’s the only water I drink so I take a drive over about every 2-3 weeks. Haven’t had the water tested before, but I do believe it is high in iron. The water has a very slight tint to it from the iron. I actually can’t drink any sort of tap or bottled water anymore because it all tastes so gross to me now that I have been spoiled with this tasty water for so long. I would most definitely recommend!
Visited this spring a couple times in the last few months. Water tastes clean. Fulton Co. Health Dept tests this water yearly in August. Last visit 3.2018 water was cloudy/milky settles when water sits. Is this normal for springs to be clear then cloudy?
