Description

Oil Creek Spring pours from the exposed side of a large mountain along Route 8 between Rouseville and Oil City. This spring has a small concrete spring box and PVC pipe directly in the bedrock, and is easily accessible via a large parking area right off of Route 8. This spring is excellent and consequently very busy (especially during hot summer days), so there may be a short waiting line.

Location shown is incorrect. Correct coordinates are N41° 28.6320′ W79° 41.4980′. Spring is easily seen in google earth.
Also, description is wrong. Spring is 1/2 mile N of the red light (Intersection of Rts. 8 & 227) in Rouseville. It is not between Oil City & Rouseville.

Thank you for the correct coordinates. Is there anyway you can get us the decimal coordinates for the spring instead? Thanks! The Find A Spring Team
