This spring is a dangerous place! People either get harrassed by the security guards or by the crazy and sometimes aggressive homeless people lurking in the area

  2. Dogmabites says:

This place is definitely NOT worth the long walk in. The water is too filthy to enter. What’s worse, between the barbed-wire fences and the overzealous security patrols, one could easily end up injured or in jail when attempting to get to this decaying animal-corpse-ridden mud-hole. A better option are the numerous mineral hot springs in Desert Hot Springs or Sky Valley.

How close to the road is this spring? Can we park off Tramway Road at that long rock channel  that veers off to the right? How far from that channel is the path to the hot spring? Is the dirt path just a foot path, or wider like an old dirt road? Does anyone have an exact latitude and longitude?
