5.1 miles up Kueffler road from Beacon Rock turn off on SR14 (keeping to the center road and staying north) is a right hand parking spot. Park here or drive the short skid road through the brush to a rough trail that heads due east for approx 1/2 mile. Cross the boulder field at the end heading towards the 2nd most northerly Maple Tree group on the far side.

Turn off on SR14 (keeping to the center road and staying north) is a right hand parking spot. Park here or drive the short skid road through the brush to a rough trail that heads due east for approx 1/2 mile. Cross the boulder field at the end heading towards the 2nd most northerly Maple Tree group on the far side.

This spring comes straight out of the hillside, cold and sweet. The cliff you pass which is on the left is called “Jimmies” or Jimmy Cliff” and is an active rockclimbing area.
