Hey Jan,
I've been going to this spring for years and my family has been going to it for decades. The quality has decreased over that period of time. This is surely a seepage spring, so as a result of environmental changes and a lot of construction in the area around the spring (including the supermarket that recently opened just north), I don't personally drink this water. I DO use it externally though. If driving by on a hot day, it's nice to splash it on the skin 🙂 There is a spring a few miles south of this one, however that I have to test and post. It's right on route 10 near the gun store. Across the street. Rolling off the mountain, it is funneled into a white pipe that is visible from a moving car. This water is usually pretty good. Usually. I drink this sometimes. I'll get it tested and posted here though.

Anyone recently drinking this water,is that a well directly behind the fence?? Thanx.
I got a TDS/PPM meter and tested this water it came in at 13,also bought a home test for contaminants and bacteria it passed all flying colors,DRINK UP 😉
I just visited this spring today. The water was cool and delicious! I encountered a couple friendly and healthy-looking locals who informed me that they had been visiting this spring for years.
The spring is located just alongside NH route 10, and almost directly across the street from the entrance to the Monadnock Humane Society. It’s on the east side of the street, near the wooden fence. The land beyond the fence is the Yale Forest. There is a large parking area here near the entrance to the Yale Forest.
The spring itself is on the side of the fence nearer to the road, not the forest. It is in a small ditch. The water emerges about a foot from ground level, so be sure to bring a smaller container shorter than that so you can collect the water. When I was there, the water was not coming out with much force, so it was a bit time consuming to fill my several bottles.
This spring has yet to put out any water this year. Does anybody know why? I’m a regular at this spring.
