Directions from Nearest Address
Off highway 30. Park at Multnomah Falls lodge. It is a 3 mile hike to the source. You can grab a map of the hiking loops at Multnomah Falls Lodge. This is a great spring. If you are cruising through Oregon and want to stretch your legs on a nice 3 mile hike to a spring, this is the spring to visit. Bring a backpack full of empty bottles for later. Also depending on what time of year you go there are wild salmon berries, blackberries, and thimble berries growing along the trail all the way to the spring.

How do you find the spring? Is it on a map? I went hiking on the Multnomah Falls trail and couldn't find the spring. Thanks!

they have maps at the base of the mountain that indicate the spring. The spring is at the very top of the mountain on the 3 milk hike loop

You have to hike up Wahkeena Falls (west of Multnomah) if you go up Multnomah you have to circle over to Wahkeena — there are signs once you get to the top (past the top of Multnomah Falls
That’s a long way to have to go for fresh drinking water, then packing it back down…

A faster and more direct route is to take the Wahkenna trail, then get on the trail to Angels rest, its about a few hundred feet up this trail.
I always drink from this spring, and its great,
