Camille, Avocado, and I hit this spring up before heading to Kripalu today.. TDS measured at 26. Wild flow next to the pipe where we topped off our tinctures, essential oils, etc… Avo jumped into the creek across the street! Great spring!

this spring is awesome! flowing out of a pipe in a peaceful, beautiful mountain notch on the side of the road. GPS coordinates are right on, and there are some colorful Mass residents that come here 😉

Walker Island is a unpleasant campground and OLD would NOT recommend!

what does that have to do with the quality of the water?  this spring site is awesome

walker island got washed out and is completely being rebuilt. looks really nice now and the spring is the best water i’ve had. i live about 15 minutes away and i purchased a 2 gallon bucket with a spicket and keep it in my fridge all the time.

This is an amazingly clean spring and an easy ride up Route 20 through the small hill towns. Spring is on the right hand side heading West on 20 past the Walker Island campground. Be patient and kind at the waterhole. Most folks will allow others to cut in if filling a few jugs vs a lot of 5 gallon containers. Great spring, however, recently I have noticed some trash and broken bottles around, please take care of the free spring, take water, leave nothing but thanks.

I used to purchase my spring water from Big Lots, which seemed like a bargain. Now I just refill my 1 Gallon empty jugs here when in the area. The water is extremely clear, fresh, and tasty.

This spring has my only drinking water this fall and winter. My well failed and drew in sand just as summer ended . I have to say I have no complaints. Since I no longer drink treated city water Ive lost all signs of eczema which bothered me all my life. I loveove that spring!

Spring is just over the Becket town line. DEP wants it closed. We are working to keep it open. Will try to get more information as it comes in.

Ime very very picky about my water like the only water I drink is smart water I was on my way home from a picknick at a friends house an I stopped to check out since the spring in Russell was taken away .the water is cold an clear an the taste is exacly like my water I drink smart water . I fully plan to return with all my empty bottles to fill an enjoy . I totally recommend this natural spring to enjoy while I still can who knows when they will take this away from us . U know if it’s free then they want it gone thank you for reading

Any updates on this spring, any recent reasons to be wary of water quality, anyone regularly monitoring/testing it?

The spring site has been sealed up because of the state crying it contained ecoli. Have been getting my water there for years, never a problem. They want someone to spend 85k for a UV filtration system. It’s all bs just for the bottled water company’s to make more money. Now we have to buy water at the market. It sucks
