I went there yesterday. I hadn’t read the details and was relying on the location of the pin on the map.

A much more accurate location can be found by searching for the following address:
    2-56 Spring Lane
    Spruce Head, ME 04859

  2. Michael says:

To add to the directions, after the right turn on 131st and going 4 miles, turn Right onto Wiley’s Corner Road, then make an immediate right onto the dirt/gravel road (Starboard Lane?) which becomes the parking area and the spring a few feet away. There are several signs for walking trails in the area including at least one other before Wiley’s Corner. The spring appears to be monitored regularly, and when I was there in July 2013 there was a message board with recent test results and maintenance news.

  3. Metle Rockwell says:

Does anyone know when the spring water will be drinkable without having to boil it?
