This is a man-made spring that uses the power of a windmill to pump the natural mineral water to the surface. It’s right on the road, so very easy access. You can just drive up and fill up! Please be respectful of the property and leave a donation so that the owners continue to leave it open to the public. There is even a little sitting area nearby with an outdoor piano!

I am the owner. The water is mineral water and is tested regularly by the County of Ventura. Open 24-7. There’s a donation slot. It’s right along Rice Rd. Cheers! Smitty West

Stopped by today. Very friendly friend-of-the-owner was there and we chatted a bit. She was getting water too so I imagine this water is reliable and clean. It’s in a public space and available daily, they ask for 50cents/gallon donation (honor system) — and I’m happy to give. Very grateful for this generous person, because it is private land and they’ve kept this springwater open to the public.

  9. Jennie A says:

I just went today water taste amazing ???? i recomend everyone going.

  10. Dolores says:

Question if this is well water, what makes it spring water?

  11. Jeff says:

Drank water here quite a few times. Water tastes good and but not like a mountain spring found at higher elevation. There is also water test results posted there so you can see exactly what’s in it so I believe it is safe. Overall a good local source full of minerals with owners who are nice enough to open it for public use!
