In the beautiful woodlands of the Forest of Dean, this spring is reputedly very ancient. In front of the spring is a stone ‘bathing pool’ built by the Romans. Behind that is where the water flows out of the spring. It is very clean and tasty water with no farmland nearby. You can read more about it and see a map here > http://www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=15230
