feels very cold, and outstanding flow rate! I’m curious about the cautionary sign (similar to River Road Spring nearby). It seems like a great spring…possible supplement with UV filtering to be on the safe side??

    • FindASpring Team says:

Hi Ben. Sending water samples for testing is always an option. And as a matter of fact we might be looking for people to help us do this, as a communal effort, in the near future. As for UV filtration for bacteria management, if necessary, it’s a good safety measure. However, we always suggest processing water the least possible. Go with your gut feeling, or better yet, a proper lab test if you’re on the fence about safety.

  2. Ben says:

Piscataquog Land Conservancy (owners of land & spring) reported they do not test water. Sign at spring is just cautionary.

  3. HI, Ben, This spring sounds difficult to find the first time…any chance at all that you might be able to show it to me??
