The map pin has the location off slightly, should be right on highway 12 to the east of Elliston in or near to the 1st green Forest Service section square that is on the map….

Easily found this spring yesterday 4/23/16. Left Helena westbound on Hwy 12. Barely beyond the summit of McDonald Pass there is a blue road sign indicating WATER 1/4 mile. Another WATER sign with an arrow points you to a pull out complete with a basic stone structure and a pipe gushing spring water. Delicious water! We bought a carboy at the local hardware store in Helena and they even had some lab test results from the spring on file!

Drank water from this spring on April 8 and we have been been ill for a week with fever and diarrhea. Has this water been tested this spring? Thank you

      • Sheree Tompkins says:

Been drinking this spring water for years. My hubby is immune compromised too. We’ve never gotten sick. Perhaps your containers were compromised or you got sick from something else.

  7. Joey Magelssen says:

I’m wondering if this spring may have caused respiratory issues and diarrhea in me and my family. We will no longer be drinking water from it. Too risky.
